What Does 'Nahum' Mean and How Does Spiritual Beliefs Influence Therapy?

Nahum, a term derived from biblical scripture, means "comforter." This reflects the nurturing and supportive environment we strive to provide at Nahum Therapy Services. As for my personal beliefs,

I am a practicing Christian and a firm believer in Jesus Christ. However, the impact of spirituality on your therapy sessions entirely depends on your preferences.

If exploring spirituality is a part of your therapeutic journey, I encourage you to initiate discussions on this topic. My approach ensures that spiritual beliefs are incorporated only if you express interest. For those seeking Christian counseling specifically, I offer services that align with Christian principles. Above all, my priority is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space where the focus is solely on your well-being and personal growth.

If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours' notice, or if there is a no-show, you will be charged the full fee for the session. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a reliable schedule that benefits all of our clients.

How Often Do We Meet for Therapy Sessions?

We typically schedule therapy sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on your individual needs and goals. This regularity helps establish a consistent and supportive framework for addressing and managing your concerns.
